Our range of Triaxial Test Apparatus is totally automated stress-path system for Rock.The modules of our range like load frame, confining pressure, back pressure, pore pressure or volume change are completely controlled by the dedicated computer. Triaxial test equipment is used for shear strength testing on soil specimens. Triaxial shear strength is one of the most versatile soil strength tests in geotechnical engineering. More complex than a direct shear test, it allows control of specimen stresses in perpendicular directions. In this load frame, rate of strain will be controlled through combination of electronics and micro stepper motor. The unit will operate on 220Volts 50Hz single phase supply.

Triaxial Cell
- For 38mm diameter x 76 mm high specimen
- Suitable for lateral pressure up to 1000 kpa, the cell has four take off positions drilled in the base for cell pressure, pore water pressure, and for top and bottom drainage.
- Fitted with 4 no-volume change valves. Cell is supplied complete with one loading pad, two porous stones, one sheath stretcher, one split sand former, 10 latex rubber sheaths and four sealing rings for 38 mm dia samples

ELECTRONIC DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM:
- The four-channel micro controller-based signal conditioning and touch panel display unit is suitable to measure Axial load, Pore/Back pressure, Vertical displacement and Volume change (optional) directly indicated in their respective engineering units during Triaxial Testing. The system receives the output signal from the sensors i.e. Load cell, Pore/Back pressure sensor,
- Displacement Sensor and Volume change (optional) sensor attached to the Triaxial shear Test apparatus. The data of all four channels of Triaxial Shear Test can be transferred to computer through Ethernet and can be online monitored.
- The Unit also provides the facility of online monitoring of data of all the sensors on Touch Panel
- Display provided at the front.
- Broadly the following facilities are incorporated in the system:-
- Touch panel is provided to perform various operations such as TARE, PROGRAMMING, START, STOP etc.
- Independent Taring of each channel
- Data transfer interval is programmable (between 10 second to 1 hour)
- Automatic data saving on stop button.
- There are 25 set results having a maximum of 200 data points per set can be stored in the electronic unit .The sample number can be programmed.
- Online date and time of test will be stored along with the data.
- On line (while the test is in progress) data transfer to the computer through RS232/ Ethernet port.
