The Sieve Shaker is used to make the process of sieving easier and quicker. The sieve shaker effects a more elaborate and standardized sieving action to produce accurate results and eliminate personal errors involved in manual sieving.

PRINCIPAL OF SIEVE SHAKER:

The sample is exposed to horizontal or vertical movement during sieving, depending on the technology used. The particles and the sieve move around as a result of this. Individual particles flow through the sieve mesh or are held on the sieve surface depending on their size. In order to effectively use sieve shakers for screening, data on particle size distribution, sieve load, sieve shaking method, particle shape and size, and ratio of sieve open area to total area must be considered.

USES OF SIEVE SHAKER:

In a tap sieve shaker a horizontal, circular movement is superimposed by a vertical motion generated by a tapping impulse. Sieve shakers are used for separation and size determination of particles. A typical sieve shaker separates particles by passing them through a series of chambers with mesh filters and agitating the sample in order to obtain complete separation.
