PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A rotary evaporator (also called as“rotavap” or “rotovap”) is a device used in labs for the efficient and gentle removal of solvents from samples by evaporation. The picture on the right shows what a typical rotary evaporator includes. Specifications

Rotavapor complete with Vacuum Pump, Vacuum Controller and Re-Circulating Chiller Rotary Evaporator

1. Manual quick -action jack hand lifting for simple raising and lowering of the flask by hand case of power failure.
2. Rotation speed up to 280 rpm or better with microprocessor control.
3. Shielded thermostatic bath.
4. Heating bath for temperature of 20 – 95 dec C with an accuracy of ± 2 degC. 5. Digital bath temperature display of both set and actual temperature simultaneously.
5. Over-temperature protection power cut off when actual temperature exceeds set temperature or by rapid temperature increase.
6. Bath guidance Integrated in the base allows to easily position the heating bath along the guidance (sideways) when various evaporating flasks are used.
7. Evaporating flask from 50-4000ml can be used on the same joint adapter without additional connections.
8. Vertical Glass Assembly with high quality, inert 3.3 grade borosilicate glass with 2.1 mm inner wall thickness & Continuous Vapor Ducting.

Vacuum Controller

1. Modular (not integrated) vacuum Controller with Digital display 4” Colour screen.
2. Measuring range: 1400- 1 mbar.
3. Control range: 1100- 1 mbar.
4. Measuring principle: capacitive, independent of gas type, absolute pressure gauge / sensor made from aluminum oxide-ceramic.
5. Measuring accuracy: ± 2 mbar (± 1 digit) – after calibration at constant temperature.

Vacuum Pump

1. Single stroke, 2 stages PTFE Chemically resistant Diaphragm Vacuum Pump with a flow rate of 1.5 m3 /h.
2. Ultimate vacuum 10 mbar (± 2 mbar)
3. The pump will consume less electrical power and works under reduced stress so that overall maintenance costs will be reduced over the lifetime of the pump.

Re-circulating Chiller

1. Compact and Robust Re-circulating Chiller with a cooling capacity of 530 Watts at 15 deg C
