MAKE DINESH SCIENTIFIC MODEL DS-1901
DESCRIPTION
A lathe machine is a basic and multipurpose tool used in manufacturing and machining. Its main purpose is to rotate workpieces against cutting tools in order to shape and manipulate them. A lathe’s main parts are a spindle that holds and rotates the workpiece and a cutting tool that moves in different directions to remove material and shape it into the desired shape. Lathes are available in a variety of varieties to meet different machining requirements, including CNC lathes, turret lathes, and engine lathes.
Lathe machines are essential for producing threaded parts, cylindrical components, and fine details in woodworking, metalworking, and other materials. They work in a variety of industries, such as general manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace. Due to their adaptability, lathe machines are essential for a variety of tasks including turning, facing, tapering, threading, and knurling. This helps to improve the overall accuracy and efficiency of machining.
FEATURES:
BED AND BASE:
- The bed gives the other parts of the lathe a sturdy surface to rest on. It supports the carriage, tailstock, and other important parts and is usually made of cast iron.
HEADSTOCK:
- The main spindle that rotates the workpiece is housed here. Several speed settings for the headstock may be available to suit different machining tasks. For even more flexibility, some lathe machines come equipped with a reversible spindle.
TAILSTOCK:
- The tailstock, which is positioned across from the headstock, supports the other end of the workpiece. Frequently, it has an adjustable quill that can accommodate different tools, like drills or live centers.
CARRIAGE:
- The cutting tool is stored in the carriage, which can travel along the bed both longitudinally and crosswise. During the machining process, it is in charge of shaping the workpiece by removing material.
CROSS SLIDE AND COMPOUND REST:
- In order to regulate and sustain the intended output pressure, these compressors are outfitted with pressure regulation devices. To prevent overpressure scenarios, this may include safety valves, regulators, and pressure switches.
