CNC MILLING MACHINE
MAKE DINESH SCIENTIFIC
DESCRIPTION
A CNC milling machine, also known as a computer numerical control milling machine, is a multipurpose machining instrument that removes material from a workpiece using precision cutting tools and computerized controls. It is frequently utilized to create complex and accurate components during the manufacturing and prototyping stages.
CONTROL PANEL:
The machine has a control panel that the user can use to program and enter the required cutting paths, measurements, and other details.
AXIS MOVEMENT:
The cutting tool on a CNC milling machine can travel in several directions to generate complicated shapes and designs. Typically, the machine has three or more axes (X, Y, and Z).
BED OR TABLE:
A bed or table with movable axes on which the workpiece is fastened is used. In order to do more complex machining processes, this table may also revolve.
CUTTING TOOL:
The cutting tool is fastened to a spindle and is typically a revolving end mill or drill bit. The spindle is under the CNC system’s control and has vertical (Z-axis) movement capability.
WORKHOLDING DEVICES:
The workpiece is fastened to the table during machining using a variety of clamps, vises, or fixtures.
COOLANT SYSTEM:
CNC milling machines frequently have a coolant system that moves coolant around the cutting tool and workpiece to reduce overheating and enhance cutting efficiency.
ENCLOSURE:
To improve operator safety and contain debris, a lot of CNC milling machines have enclosed structures.
