AUTOMATIC ABEL FLASH POINT TESTER
MAKE DINESH SCIENTIFIC
DESCRIPTION:
The Automatic Abel Flash Point Tester is a device used to determine the flash point of flammable liquids and petroleum products. The flash point is the lowest temperature at which vapors from the liquid ignite when exposed to a flame or spark in controlled conditions.
KEY FEATURES AND DESCRIPTION:
AUTOMATIC OPERATION:
- Fully automated, reducing human error and increasing efficiency during testing. It follows specific programs for heating, ignition, and flash detection.
TEST METHOD:
- Follows the Abel closed-cup method (ISO 13736, IP 170, ASTM D3941, and other standards), which is known for testing liquids with low flash points, such as kerosene and jet fuel.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL:
- Precise heating of the sample using an electrically heated cup. Temperature ramps up gradually until the flash point is reached.
- Advanced temperature sensors ensure accurate detection of temperature changes.
